A photo book from Monique Jacot
The Swiss photograph Monique Jacot, is known for diverse documentary works about the condition of Swiss women in the country, in factories and in politics.

In her early photo journalistical work realized in the middle of the fifties for various magazines and organizations such as Elle, Vogue, Die Woche, Du, Geo, Annabelle, or the l’OMS her observation are engaged and delicate. In her first photo reports in Las Vegas or New York as in her later research in England or France she depicts already from a social angle the daily activities of the women in the community.

Monique Jacot shares her critical and subtle look over the individual and her environment since over a half century. This book is the result of a research which took over 5 years.
